The decision between choosing a bulky and heavy mobility scooter that can go places or one that is less stable but foldable, has now become easier to make. The new S1 Scooter from FreedomChair is a hybrid of stability and robustness combined with foldability and compactness.

The S1 mobility scooter is built to give customers the confidence to venture afar, yet simply folds flat for easier transportation and storage at home. Equipped with two powerful motors that proportionally adjust to the steering angle, the scooter can tackle more challenging terrains. The rider can change the scooter’s platform length electrically and adjust the seat height to suit their comfort.

All three wheels are fitted with 12” x 3.5” pneumatic tyres for exploring beyond smooth, hard surfaces.

The control unit has many configurable parameters and the mobility scooter is supplied with two batteries that are common to the other FreedomChair models. It will also accept the seat widening kit and 8 series cupholder from the FreedomChair accessory range.
