The Lithium Battery is concealed within its plastic hard outer shell thus allowing a little exposure to the elements however we always recommend to keep the battery free from moisture as prolonged exposure to such will affect the performance and lifespan of the battery itself.

I am looking for a scooter to take on the bus. So having to separately carry the seat and battery would not work well in this situation. Likewise as the scooter would be upright on a bus I wouldn't want the handlebar stem to be loose.

This scooter has given me the freedom to visit my relatives for the first time in 4 years, actually have a look round a supermarket or garden centre.
Strengths: Very simple to fold up and put in the car - also not too heavy but surprisingly strong.
Weaknesses: Yes the tiller does move freely when the scooter is lifted but a small bungee type holder easily secures that.
