Can I Use My Scooter in All Weather Types?
Typically, mobility scooters are weather-resistant, but they tend not to be waterproof (although some models will be). We recommend avoiding using your scooter in heavy rain or snow, as prolonged exposure to these conditions can cause damage to the device. Weatherproof covers can also be purchased to protect both yourself and your scooter from rain and snow.
Do I Need Insurance for My Mobility Scooter?
In the UK, mobility scooters are not legally required to have insurance to be driven in public. However, taking out insurance can still be beneficial, providing peace of mind for you if your scooter is stolen, damaged or has an accident.
