Batteries

Spare and replacement batteries for the machines we build ourselves — the iGlide Autofolding, iGlide E-Comfort, iCarbon Style, Model M, Model T and Vala. Each one is listed by the model it fits and the range it gives, so you are not left guessing at amp hours.

Why most people buy a second one. These are lithium packs that lift out, not the sealed lead-acid blocks bolted under an older scooter. A spare in the basket means a long day out does not depend on one charge, and swapping it over takes seconds.

Getting the right one. Capacity is what changes how far you go: on the iCarbon Style a 6Ah battery gives up to 6 miles and a 20Ah up to 24. Each battery here fits particular models and nothing else. If you are not certain which yours takes, ring 0333 577 8085 or bring the machine into any of our shops and we will check it against the scooter itself rather than the paperwork.

Every battery is listed with and without VAT relief. Choose the 0% option at checkout if you qualify — our VAT exemption page explains who does.

If your scooter came from somewhere else. These batteries will not fit it, and we would rather tell you that than sell you one. Our own engineers replace batteries on all makes and models, sealed lead-acid included, and that is arranged by phone or in store — the mobility scooter batteries page explains how. If you are not sure whether the problem is the battery or the charger, start with the free battery check.
